Week 1 & Let's Not Burn Ourselves Out Here

So it has been about 10 days since I officially started my leave of absence. Since we were in Arizona that last week, it was really just a vacation instead of actual responsibilities of any sort. Since we are back in Louisville now, I thought it would be prudent to have some semblance of a schedule for the last month before school starts. It's about 2PM our time today, and so far the children have refused to leave the house. The clouds are rolling in for a classic afternoon rain storm (classic as in, it happens almost every freaking day here so it's all we have known since we have been in Kentucky - that and I no longer appreciate the color green anymore). I have backed out of three "let's leave the house" deadlines so far, but maybe the next one will stick? Maybe we will work on the whole schedule thing next week...

I actually did it!

Holly: " You're going to cry."
Me: " I know I'm going to cry!"
Holly: " You're going to cry."
